Section One – Personal Data

This site uses cookies to improve your website experience, and we also collect anonymous user statistics, usually showing a person’s activity on our site. We also store email addresses on our site in the event a user leaves a comment, or if you reach out to us using our contact form.

If you provide us for unsolicited personally identifying information, such as a phone number or additional information in a comment or an email, we would store that but it’s outside the normal course of business that we would require it.

We don’t share the data we collect with outside 3rd parties. The personal data we collect is used primarily to improve your experience on the website, and is not stored offline or used for any other purpose.

Section Two – Information Not Collected

We don’t collect the following personal identifying information:

  • Names
  • Dates of Birth
  • Physical Addresses
  • Personal Credit Card Information
  • Social Security Numbers

We don’t store any personally identifying information on our servers, with the exception of email addresses, or any additional data you voluntarily provide.

Section Three – Site Security Encryption

We use an SSL certificate to encrypt all data as it passes from the website to the server, protecting transmissions, and safeguarding data. We’ve taken the steps to use SSL encryption to safeguard our customers as they interact with our business. The SSL certificate protects us, and it protects you from unauthorized access to your data.

SSL encryption is a technological safeguard, and in most cases it keeps data safe during transmission, but it does not prevent, nor is it a safeguard against hacking.

Section Four – Cookie Policy

This site uses cookies to improve the website experience. This is common among most modern sites on the internet today, and in most cases, cookies are not harmful or malicious. Cookies store some information about each session when you access a particular site, and allow you to personalize your experience.

This site receives commissions from recommending products through affiliate commissions paid by the company being promoted. We use cookies to get credit for purchases made from this site, and it’s how we pay our bills.

Cookies can be refreshed and many expire after a certain amount of time has passed, and no cookie is permanent.

By using this site, you consent to using cookies. We cannot turn off cookies, or modify cookie behavior on a per-person basis.

Section Five – Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a website statistics program we use to evaluate how well or poorly our site is performing. Most sites on the internet use some form of web statistics tracking for the same purposes we do. Google Analytics provides us with the following data:

  • Total Number of People Who Visit a Page
  • How Long They Stayed on a Page
  • If They Left a Page Shortly After Arriving
  • Limited Demographic Data (City, Age Range, Country, Gender)
  • Other Anonymous Statistics

Google Analytics does not track the following data, and keeps no record on our site of this information:

  • Name
  • Birthdate and Exact Age
  • Telephone Number
  • IP Address
  • Social Security Number
  • Credit Card Information
  • Other Personally-Identifying Data

All Google Analytics data is completely anonymous. All we know is a visitor came to a page, and did some activity, and left later. We don’t know anything more than that. Google Analytics is immeasurably valuable to our company and helps us get the best insight into how to serve you better.

There’s no way to selectively “opt-out” of Google Analytics tracking, and most sites on the internet use it, even if they don’t tell you. We cannot selectively turn off Google Analytics tracking on a person-by-person basis. If you’re not comfortable with our collection of basic analytics data, you can exit the site.

Section Six – How Long We Retain Your Data & Your Rights to Your Data

Your data is retained on our site indefinitely, but if you want to remove it, you have options. When you post a comment, you publicly leave your email address. It’s included with the commenting system, and the only way to remove it is to delete the comment.

If you would like to delete a comment, you can email us and ask us to remove it for you.

If you send us an email, we will retain it for our records, but you may email us at any time and ask to delete it.

Google Analytics data cannot be purged or deleted on a person-by-person basis, once the activity is tracked on the site, it’s logged and archived, and cannot be removed.
